Biography
ANDJELA MUJCIC (1981) Nis, Serbia
Graduated in 2005. at the Faculty of Arts in Niš, majoring in painting. In 2011. she completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of fine Arts in Belgrade. In 2018. she finished Doctoral studies – Fine Arts, at the Faculty of Arts and Design in Belgrade.
She has been working at the Faculty of Arts
2011 – 2017. as a Teaching assistant in Painting. 2017 – now, as an Assistant Professor in Fine Arts department.
Member of ULUS since 2010 – Serbian Association of Fine Artists. Member of ULUKiM since 2012 – Association of Fine Artists of Kosovo and Metohija.
Awards:
2022. Winner of the plaque for the work “Telo vreteno” at the 25th Tapestry Biennial “Utkano”, Gallery “Pod svodovima”, Konak knjeginje Ljubice, Belgrade, Serbia.
2021. Winner of the first prize at The 8th Artist of Vranje Biennale. Gallery of National Museum Vranje, Serbia.
2016. Purchase of work for the collection of the National Museum Kraljevo;
2015. Purchase of work for the collection of the National Museum Kruševac Art Gallery;
2010. Winner of the second prize in creative multimedia competition “Voyage Bleu” – SKC Gallery, Belgrade
